Ramadan is a time of immense mercy and blessings. It is the time when most people seek forgiveness from Allah and try to do as many good deeds as possible. During Ramadan month of charity, our good deeds are rewarded tenfold more than usual. Feeding someone is one of the most extraordinary deeds, and when you feed someone at the time of Ramzan, the reward of this deed is multiplied many times.
Ramadan month of charity great devotion and teachings for Muslims, including patience, unity, self-resilience, and helping others. Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, practicing virtues like Sadaqah and Zakat Donation. This fast is a happy period, with the devil imprisoned and chained and the gates of Heaven open while gates of hell are closed. Good actions done during Ramadan are rewarded tenfold, and conducting Umrah is equivalent to undertaking Hajj with Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The essence of Ramadan Donations are found in feeling hunger, practicing patience, refraining from negative behaviour, and not lying, expressing wrath, or backbiting. Ramadan is not a culinary competition, but rather a gift from Allah to enhance one's account of actions and increase rewards. The last 10 nights of Ramadan are devoted in prayer and worship, seeking the Night of Laylatul Qadr.
Charity is a crucial aspect of helping Muslim brothers and sisters in need, and Allah (SWT) provides a golden opportunity to do more charity during Ramadan. Various types of charity are given by Muslims worldwide, including Zakat, which is 2.5% of total savings given once a year by those with more wealth. Sadaqah is a voluntary act of kindness, whether big or small, given from the heart. Giving sadaqah in Ramadan increases the rewards of this act. Fidyah donation is made by those unable to fast due to illness or old age to feed the hungry. Kaffarah is a way to make up for missed fasts by feeding the poor. The benefit of offering iftar to a fasting individual extends beyond the person who provides the food and at whose expense others break their fast. If a man spends his cash on food and the woman cooks and prepares it, the man will be rewarded for his spending, while the woman will be rewarded for her hard work and effort. This is backed by hadiths, which state that a woman and the storekeeper will receive a reward for providing charity, even if the wealth belongs to the husband. The Arabic version of the hadith could be understood as suggesting that they would all be rewarded, but the one who earned the money and purchased the food would receive a larger reward.
