SMIT provides a wide range of IT courses for beginners & IT professional courses to fulfill the requirements of the tech industry these days. The students are offered over 80 specialized courses. The majority of courses are delivered at no cost, students are only expected to have a basic level of computer skills and the courses are delivered by experts in a hands-on and project-based way, ready to enter the workforce, freelance and start up a business.
SMIT is a pioneer in digital skills training in Pakistan with over 200,000 trained students to date and is striving towards achieving its mission of equipping millions of software developers in Pakistan. The program enhances career prospects via collaboration with educational institutions and industry associations, providing mentorship, industry integration, certification, and practical experience. This "mass IT training for youth" initiative has launched students' professional portfolios, acquired technical skills suitable for work, and enabled them to play confidently in the local and international technology market.
